We're back from Europe! Actually, we got back on Monday night, but as you can imagine, I've been quite busy catching up on sleep and work and laundry and all that other fun stuff. I wanted to post more while we were over there, but the service in Germany was so very spotty and then it was so expensive in France, so I figured, what the hell, I'll take a little break from blogging.
So guys, what did I miss? There's no way I'm going to be able to get through all of Google Reader so if something utterly exciting happened to you while I was away, please tell me so that I'm not out of the loop!
So Europe? Was awesome. Completely awesome. I now desire a glass of wine with every meal, though I'm not too sure that my boss will appreciate me sipping a glass of shiraz at my desk while I devour my peanut butter sandwich. (Also, cannot get enough peanut butter after not having it for the last 13 days because my jar of Skippy did not make the weight cut to go into the luggage!) Seriously though, soda costs more than wine and beer over there. Like twice as much. Absurd. The Europeans would love my office where we have all you can drink free fountain sodas.
I'm still working on (read: haven't touched my camera since we landed) uploading all of the photos to Flickr, but I'll be posting some of my favorites here with a recap of some of the top highlights of the trip. One which involves me playing blackjack in a hole-in-the-wall bar with an old German man who got me drunk, which subsequently made me late to meet Jonathan. You know you want the rest of that story! Oh, and after learning a teeny weeny bit of French, I think I might have to change my blog name because apparently "le" and "petit" (without the e) is masculine. Whoops!
