How Far Along: 32 weeks and 4 days
Weekly Fruit Comparison: A squash (My last week as a squash!)
The Good: My mother-in-law and sister-in-law hosted my first baby shower this past weekend and wow, was our baby girl spoiled! In lieu of cards, all of the guests brought a children's book with a message to La Petite Bebé. Love, love, love that idea! I was an early reader thanks to my parents reading to me and I hope to instill the same love of reading in her. My favorite gift? The gorgeous nursery sign that I fell in love with on Etsy and mentioned here a few weeks ago. It's so perfect!
The Bad: Still with the swollen feet, with a side of heartburn. Today was the first day we've seen some relief from the heat and wouldn't you know, my swelling reduced considerably. My ribs continue to be sore, but I think that's because all of my organs are shoved up underneath them!
The Weird: Your body is totally not your own when you're pregnant and nothing makes that clearer than the third trimester. Drop something on the ground? Get ready to squat to retrieve it. Bending over is hard! Then there's the scooting your chair back at work because your belly is so big it hits the desk. Oy.
Best Pregnancy Moment: We finished our childbirth classes this week and as we walked into class for the last time, I realized that the next time we come back to the hospital, I'll be in labor! It's so surreal, but definitely exciting.
The Weekly Belly Bump: Some days it's low and some days it's high, but it's definitely still growing!
