How Far Along: 33 weeks and 6 days (Okay, so I almost missed this week! I've been a thank you card writing fool every night!)
Weekly Fruit Comparison: A honeydew
The Good: My mom hosted a truly wonderful baby shower for all of my family down here in Maryland. Baby Girl was totally spoiled again! My mom loves throwing parties as much as I do and she really got into the decorations...she even made Martha Stewart flowers! I got to see a lot of lovely ladies that I haven't seen in a very long time, including Jess who flew in all the way from Texas! And the favors? My mom made little booklets of all of my bump day updates! Everyone loved them and it's a great keepsake for the baby book. (see Jess's photos here)
The Bad: With only six weeks to go, I'm definitely feeling it. I'm tired, yet there's so much to do still that I can't help but run around and try to get it all done. My feet hurt and even though the weather has cooled off this week, they're still swollen. Thank god it's flip flop season because none of my shoes fit. I really hope they shrink back to their normal size once I give birth!
The Weird: So my stomach is numb in places. Totally numb, especially around my belly button. It's super strange, but apparently quite normal at this point in the game!
Best Pregnancy Moment: At my appointment last Thursday, I asked my doctor if he could estimate the baby's birth weight. He guessed that La Petite Bébé will be in the high sevens, low eights and is currently about four pounds. I can totally manage that!
The Weekly Belly Bump: It's at the size where randow strangers say to me, "Any day now, huh?" When I tell them I still have six weeks to go, most of them just say wow! Everyone thinks I'm going to go early due to the size of my bump, but if Baby Girl is anything like me, she is going to be late! (I was three whole weeks late!)
